Maine Marine Manufacturing Changes Name to Hodgdon Defense Composites

Portland, Maine - Maine Marine Manufacturing announced today that the company has changed its name to Hodgdon Defense Composites. The new name strengthens the organization's affiliation with Hodgdon Yachts and emphasizes a commitment to working with advanced carbon composite materials on military related projects.
"The name change to Hodgdon Defense Composites from Maine Marine Manufacturing better defines the company's strengths and areas of focus," said David Packhem, CEO, Hodgdon Defense Composites. The corporate structure of the company has not changed and board members will remain the same. "The Hodgdon brand name has stood for quality and innovation for nearly 200 years and HDC will continue to deliver both as well," stated Packhem.
